WinewenchLV and I made the trip to the far north side of the Las Vegas Valley to visit Vino 100 for their “Don’t Paso This Up” wine-tasting, featuring some of the wines and winemakers from one of our favorite areas, Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo County, Ca. Upon arriving, we were immediately offered a set [...] [...] If you read about our attempt to get a beer at 32° Draft Bar, you might think we were discouraged and went home. Not so fast. While we were in the mood for beer, wine is always also high on our list, so we decided to check out The Hostile Grape while we were there. The results were much [...] [...] While out getting our Belgian Ales from World Market, we decided to stop by the Town Square on Las Vegas Boulevard South. There we went into The Grape and sampled several flights of wine, along with their cheese sampler. A flight of three wines costs from $15 to $18, and you can pick from approximately [...] [...] TraderJoesLV, the sommelier at Trader Joe’s Anthem, invited four dozen of his closest friends to join him at Nora’s Wine Bar & Osteria for a prie fixe food and wine pairing and it was fabulous!!
