Tastings

These are a couple of our favorite places for wine tastings.  If you do wine tastings, invite us over and we’ll write a review.

The Wine Wench

Trader Joes – If there is a Trader Joes in your area check out to see if they have weekly wine tastings.

Rare – Great new place for wine tastings every Wednesday.  It’s located at 11261 Eastern Ave, Henderson high on the hill before Anthem.  Along with their tastings they have Happy Hour everyday from 3pm – 6pm with half-priced bar menu and 2 for 1 well drinks.  And for all ladies, we drink free well drinks every Friday.  www.RareLasVegas.com

The Hostile Grape – What a great place to meet-up with other wine lovers.  It’s a different wine bar where you purchase Pre-Paid Tasting Cards to use as you want, tasting over 120 wines in 1oz, 3oz or 5oz pours from dispensing machines.  It’s located downstairs in The M Resort at the corner of St. Rose Pky and I15.  They don’t offer free wine tastings, but worth the trip to try 1 oz of a $200 bottle of wine before you buy it.   www.TheMResort.com/HostileGrape.html

The Grape – A nice intimate bar and restaurant at the Town Square Mall on Las Vegas Blvd South & Sunset.  We enjoy their Wine Flights where you get to select 3 wines for $13 – $15.  Their tastings are scheduled for Wednesdays from 3pm – 5pm but call to confirm.  www.YourGrape.com

Check out the following new Wine Stores in Las Vegas, NV that also have tastings.  Let us know what you think if you go.
